Cool Unusual Military Type Botock? your thoughts....?

Cruising the bay I ran across this watch 330605012681 ( would create a link if I knew how). Its a military type Botock (komandirskie?) with what is for me an unusual and attractive form. normally I dont like these watches but this one is understated. Im not at all into the dial design, so I wont buy it. But Ive never seen anything like its shape style before and so I was curious..... For all I know its commonplace..but maybe not? Any info appreciated for the pure pleasure of knowing. Maybe some one else is interested..if so go for it... Thanks.

Don't know about the watch, but the missile system is the SA-4 GANEF (NATO designation)...one thing I do have a little expertise in is former Soviet weaponry. Seele or schnurrp probably know a lot about the case design, etc. It is POST Soviet breakup. So made in early to mid 90's. It's a strange looking case design. AND the only thing 'military' about it is the picture of the SAM system.

I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said "....I drank what?"

I look inside myself and see my heart is black, I see my red door and it has been painted black. Maybe then I'll fade away and not have to face the facts, It's not easy facing up when your whole world is black.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Close the door, put out the light. You know they won't be home tonight. The snow falls hard and don't you know? The winds of Thor are blowing cold.
They're wearing steel that's bright and true They carry news that must get through. They choose the path where no-one goes. They hold no quarter.

Very elaborate bezel indeed, that would require IMHO a non-military dial!

Looks a lot like this one (sold by Ukrainian seller "Rosso20" about eight years ago, not more active).

Same "asymmetrical" design, except bezel, dial and coating of course

There are similar new styles of casings for Vostok, some possibly made by Belarus based Vympel:
