I figured I would elaborate on my recent purchase from "chistopolcity" on ebay.
The watch arrived decently fast, about 3 weeks. The packing was a bit sparse, basically a bag over the Vostok watch case (hard plastic) with a bit of packing material inside to keep the watch from moving.
Overall very happy with the service! I would say it is safe to buy from this newer ebayer.
Not as clumsy or as random as a cell phone. An elegant timepiece for a more civilized time.

Oh right, band is a Hadley Roma rubber with red stitch in 18mm. The bracelet is sadly outside of the seller's control ;)

Thunbs up for Hadley Roma straps, I have one on my komandirskie as well. 20mm Black with yellow stitching for me. They are great for the price!

I ordered from Chistopolcity.com for my first two Vostoks. (I think my invoice was Order No. 4!) Prices were great; shipping time seems within normal range from what I understand is common for shipments from Russia. I'd trust them again!

Chistopolcity's selection is not very large though. I would have clicked on the blue Amfibia Seaman, great price, but it is not available. I think if they match the selection of Zenitar and Leonid on the 'bay they will see increased traffic especially with these prices!
Other dealers may move to match their prices. Imagine a "price war" developing! It makes me wonder what wholesale pricing is and how a non-Chinese manufacturer can make watches so inexpensively.
