For the record this is a picture comparing the "wobblies" for three different movements. I do not know what the one for the 2416 (or possibly others) are like though.

This is an interesting matter. On the same stem/crown assembly design, there are several little changes. I have often noted that 2416B (automatic) have a slimmer central part, 2409/2414 8hand winding have a bigger central section instead, maybe because hand-winding watches are supposed to be subject to an higher mechanical stress.
However, they are perfectly interchangeable (not with the 2209 though) and i never seen a "slim" stem broken, even if installed on an hand-winding 24xx version.
Domed or "flat" crowns are another design variation that i never understood.
The difference between 2409 and 2414 stems in the pic, is quite pointless too, since they are always interchangeable and there is apparently no reason for that design differences. The usual mysterious things from Chistopol!![]()

Michele,
Thank you for the input, I appreciate it
These are just the crown/stems I took out of the examples in my possession, and I do not know for certain the interchangeability of 2414 and 2409 ones. Still, both of them have bad threads and I can never have too many spare ones to ensure everything fits and works correctly.
