Which watch is this - could it be Russian?

There is an obscure WUS thread elsewhere that's attempting to identify the watches worn by Arnold Schwarzenegger in all of his movies (it's actually not that hard, he seems to wear Seiko Divers pretty much all the time!)

The one that's got everyone stumped is below. This is from the 1980's film 'Red Heat' where Arnie plays a cop from the Soviet Union sent to Chicago on some lame pretext. The theory is that he wears a Soviet watch...if that's true it's not one the I immediately recognise. Any ideas?

If I'm not mistaken, it says "Swiss Made" at the bottom

It definitely says something at six o'clock, but I can't make it out clearly. The make might also be read as Hamilton (from a distance, squinting), so I suppose this is just a plain old Swiss chrono and not anything of genuine interest :(

I could definitely be wrong about this but doesn't it look like a Sturmanskie (Штурманские).

The (completely unreadable even after zooming on it) lettering at the bottom could be "Poljot Intern" (at least I think that's what's written at the bottom of some of those watches).

    Good luck!

First word at the bottom seems to have 4 letters though....Maybe it's a " I'm Danko and i'm pissed off" watch !

At such a low resolution it's quite possible that the details that would suggest that there are more than 4 letters are lost (just try to lower the quality of a picture and zoom it in after, you'll see what I mean....)

As for your remark, you are right, Данко could be the first word...

Assuming it's a Sturmanskie (Штурманские), the thing at the top could be their logo...

    Have a nice day!

It looks similar to the last of the Type 59 chronographs. ...but that's not what it is.
