Well, it's a complete shot in the dark.
I just bought it online from a guy in Italy who usually doesn't sell watches, so he didn't provide any details about the movement.
It seems like Ferrari did a few of these series in the 50's and 60's, which were given to business relations, racecar drivers and important employees. Looks like this watch was never worn, which makes the probability of being a gift more plausible. I hope I can find out who's watch this was.
I don't think it's a cal. 302, because that should have sub seconds. Hoping for a nice automatic, the back has a little extra room. Could be a cal. 340/342?

It came in the mail today! It looks stunning, will post some more pics soon.
It's a cal. 280, too bad it's not a 340 but nevertheless a nice movement.
The serial number puts it to 1966.
