    Any info on Waldman watches?

Hi, does anyone have any info on Waldman watches. Saw this on on the bay and didn't see any more Waldmans listed, do they put other manufacturers mechs in their cases or vice versa for example.

    Many thanks as usual.

    Regards

    Richard

Very low quality movement...like a Timex with jewels.

I've never heard of the make but the movement should
be easily identified by the experts.

Looks like an EB8021 (or related)

Low end of the mid range or upper end of the low range

I actually have one just like that one. Base metal bezel. A nice vintage diver

Many thanks for the info. I managed to get the watch and its off as I type to my watchsmith to see if its worth working on. I like the dial however.

You were correct re the movement, I checked before sending of to the watchsmith and its an EB 8021N...full of jewels apparently but a simple basic movement.

Any idea who or what 'Waldman' is or was...a jewellers for example?

    Thanks again.

I don't think they ever made their own movements but I've seen a lot of Waldman watches including chronographs

I think I remember reading a tie between Waldman and Brietling but I don't remember the details

I have not seen any Waldman, only Wakman comes close.

Oops. I was thinking of Wakman for that last post.

    My previous post holds true
