    Since the AS 5008 was introduced as late as 1977, most watches sort of "originally" made with that calibre tend to be typically seventies tyle. Anything not in that style tends to be made with either "old stock" movements in the eighties or nineties or even with the remake of that movement by Jaquet. This watch neither looks seventies, nor does it have the characteristic day-date feature (it only has a date) so it looks very much like it falls into one of the other groups. Nice watch, though.
