    Picture GOLD Gruen watch.Value or any other Info?

    Well , I got this watch from a friend for very cheap. He said it was his great grandmothers. I belive that this watch is a high end watch due to the intense gold and the otherall looks of the watch... Some pictures below. Unfortunatly I have a horrible dig. camera so pics. are a little hazy. Any info Apperciated

    A lovely watch, although the bracelet seems a bit bulky for the watch.

    BTW: valuations are not allowed.

    It looks like a modern, gold plated watch. If so, it has no major intrinsic value. Better pics and pics of the movement would tell more.

    Yes, this is a modern "Gruen" with a quartz movement ...

    The watch is just gold-plated and has no great value.

    Note that this "Gruen" watch bears no relation to the original Gruen Watch Company which effectively went out of business in 1958. The current Gruen (M.Z. Berger and Company, located in New York) merely purchased the rights to use the Gruen name.
