Have you heard of this watch????

Hi Hi all, I have a vintage ladies watch that I have never heard about and can find out nothing about it. It is a Navzer Nobel, 17 rubis, 18k 0.750, it has a number 161 and a serial 3022. I am intending selling this on ebay, but need some information first. Does anyone know when this was made? or other info. Is there a website one can go to for valuation purposes? Please see the pics. Thanks

Looks more like a man's watch to me - from the 1950s probably. It appears to be a gold case, and if so probably has a decent movement inside.
We don't do valuations here sorry. I'd just Google "Navzer Watch" and see what you find. Or check on eBay for similar watches.

In that condition, expect it to have only the value of the gold.
How does the movement look like, a pic please!

Janne is right. The dial looks pretty rough.

I'm curious about the gold markings on the back; they looks suspiciously prominent, and doesn't look like an actual assaying mark. Is that brassing on the lugs, or am I just seeing camera artefacts?

I was thinking the same. Reminds me of one of my folly purchases.

First of all the guys are right, if you don't repair the dial this will be sold for merely the scrap value.

I believe this is a private label brand using a Swiss ebauche movement of some kind. By the way I am certain this is actually a ladies' size and from the early 60s. The band looks too long (or too narrow, whichever way you look at it) to be a men's size.

Personally to me it looks the case is authentic gold.
You might want to consider selling it for scrap to a local jeweler since it is pretty obvious, as everyone said, the price you will receive will not reflect a wrist watch but a few grams of 18K gold. Good luck!

You probably won't believe this. Since the 1950s, there was a noble watch shop in old city of Tabriz in Northwest Iran called Rezvan (actually RezvanFar, abbreviated to Rezvan means Paradise). The owner of this shop was a gentleman called Samad Rezvan(Far).

He and his brother were distributing almost every famous brand and beneath two commissioned fine (own) brands called DAMAS and NAVZER. If you can see the connection here to, you probably can search better armed.

There are still thousends of vintages from these two watches (just like other Vacherons, Omegas, Pateks, Rolexes and many others) kept in very good condition, if you could have the possibility to look for there. For example in Tehran!

    So good luck!

Wouldn't mind a closer look at Helvetia, but the marks look OK to me.

    That's very interesting, thank you.

However, Damas was a Swiss brand of Beguelin & Company of Tramelan. Perhaps Rezvan was a distributor of Damas rather than it being an own brand.
