Not a Rado expert, so not sure if that is a true dial color. But a seller with 788 reviews with a 100% feedback is comforting. However, I am always concerned from any vintage watches coming from such hot, humid regions. Sorry no one was able to speak to this in time before auction ended.
Akribos XXIV, Bulova, Benrus, Citizen, Elgin (2), Emporio Armani, Eterna, Ferrocarril De Antioquia, Fortis, Gruen, Hamilton (5), Kenneth Cole, Mido, Mondaine, Orient (5), Paul Breguette, Rado (2), Swiss Army, Stuhrling, Technos, Tissot, Universal Geneve, Wakmann/Sherco, Zodiac (2). And it just keeps growing, yet I've got a ton I probably should unload...
Thank you for your reply. I let this one go and I'm on the look out for the next one:) thanks again

...plus it's always nice to get a movement picture. It lets you know what's inside, allowing you to assess whether it's genuine and what state it's in.

Hi Eric!
Auction is finished, from the small pics it seems to be an authentic Green Horse day/date, reference no. 11843 with nice GP 25 jw.-AS 1859 from end of the 1960s. The crystal is replaced, it should wear a domed one. Everything else looks original, surely cleaned and polished.
There are flocks of Horses on the market, Iīm sure youīll find a good one some day.
Thereīs some info on my HP(below) about vintage Rados, if youīre in doubt, you can contact me.
Thanks guys im looking at this one , I have some time on this one. Lol
When you have a chance let me know what you think

Hi Eric!
From the pics it seems to be an authentic GP Purple Horse date in RLX-style(chequered bezel), correct reference no. 11762-3 with nice GP 25 jw.-ETA 2783(R 2797) from 1970/71. This automatic movement with Triovis fine regulation already has the "pineapple-structure" on the rotor of the 1970s` Rados, but itīs made before 1972(when the new 8-digit reference numbers came). Everything looks original. You surely have seen that the seahorses-logo on the dial is bleeched out.
Wow thanks mike! Yeah I noticed the seahorses . If I can get it for a good price I'll go for it. I have a few days to look around as well. Patience Is not my strong point lol. thanks again for all the info. Now back to reading so I can try to pretend I know 1/16 of what you do haha.
Thanks again for all the help
Hey mike what can you tell me about a New Green Horse... I can't seem to find more than a mention of it and none of the examples look like this one I was considering buying

Thanks in advance

PS: thanks for the link to the Rado site, Great stuff!!
Hi Eric!
I havenīt seen many New Green Horse with black dial before. "Georgeous clean" in the sellerīs description sounds like "repainted dial and a lot of polishing" to me.
The case and hands are not correct and thereīs no pic of the movement.
This is my GP New Green Horse, not "georgeous clean" but completely original:
There had been later versions with day/date and different markers, but AFAIK always the same hands. Itīs a 1960sī watch with ETA 2472.
