    Just in: a Gruen N510R

    Really happy with this beauty. Purported to have been NOS in 2005 when last owner, a great guy (Artonthewrist) bought it. I have now taken over stewardship. Haven't dated it yet, but looks mid-60s.

    Thanks all! Except for a tiny ding on the top of the bezel (I think this happened recently :oops:), not a mark anywhere. This really did look like it sat in a box for 40 years.

    BTW - There appears to be a glob of 'goo' hanging off one of the gear wheels near the center.

    Hmmm.....Thanks for pointing that out. Looks like lubricant. I've not had the caseback off, this was the seller's picture. Watch winds & runs perfectly, so it's not something from a glue gun.
