Kismet Antimagnetic 17 Jewel / Swiss Made

    Hi

I have a Kismet Antimagnetic 17 Jewel, Swiss Made watch which has been passed down to me from my grandfather who was German. I can't seem to find any information anywhere on the internet about them, or the watch so was wondering if any one here could give me any useful info on them?

    Thanks in advance
    Ricky

A quick search turns up Kismet SA, Cureglia, Switzerland, registered in 1952, If you can post a photo of the movement I'm sure someone will be able to tell you more

I think I can just see an "F" under the balance wheel - which would make it a Felsa movement, e.g.:

    bidfun-db Archiv: Uhrwerke: Felsa 399 (AM 399)

...and there are smaller versions too. As Ranfft states, it is not clear whether the original movement is by Felsa or AM (Adolf Michel).

Yes, the little stamp under the balance is the "F" in the ESA shield for Felsa and next to it the exact movement specification (which I unfortunately can't read from here.....).

Nice watch, it was kept in very good condition. BTW is it a gold case? many times when i see a movement ring that is stamed "metal" that usual means that the case is gold.

    Looks like it says 392.

If so, it should have a hallmark - on the back of the lugs (can't see one there), between the lugs, etc.
