This little Elgin conversion is my oldest:

The movement dates to 1911, but it was probably cased in the early to mid 1920s.

My oldest watch in original form is this 1926 Bulova Treasurer with a 15j 10AN movement...

Yeah, you guys beat me by several decades! My earliest is the Gallet MultiChron 45, circa 1942. Was very lucky to find a NOS dial for this one.

I really like the 'squiggly' 7 on this dial. Don't know why, but it's cool to me

    Some very nice watches gents!

Cant play just yet... waiting for some watches to come back (plus a couple of buys) from servicing/repair - both my 20s zeniths back up and running!

    To be continued!

    Great old Longines Fantasyvoyager.
Was this watch sold as a wristwatch in 1907 or is it a later re-case which was sold as a fob watch in 1907?
It just seems very early for this style of case.

    Re: Central USA

Watch movement and dial were made by Longines 1907, the watch movement and dial were ordered by Longines/Wittnauer in USA 1908, the movement and dial were bought by Bockstruck Jewelers Sometime after, the Nickel case dates to around 1914-16 , Made by the Star watch case company, these cases were being used commercially by the Hamilton watch company when they launched thier first mass produced wristwatch in around 1918.
