Please hep me identify this Omega Seamaster

I just received my grandfathers watch as a present.

The watch has been stored for about 50 years but it still wounds perfectly and has been keeping accurate time for the last 6 hours.

I need your help to identify the exact Seamaster model because I want to look for the original strap which is missing (temporarily I have put a nato but itīs also bigger than the lugs size so I want to change it as soon as possible).

    Thanks!

    Hi.........

I dont think the watch is a Seamaster..... nor an Omega..... nor Gold...... which may explain why you are finding it hard to ID. But some clearer pics of the case back (inside and out) and movement may confirm this

If this was given to you by your Grandfather.... I would treasure and use it if its keeping good time!

    Cheers,

I have to agree with Marc... especially on the still treasure it part. But the other parts of his assessment are probably true... too hard to be definitive without better pics.

I agree with Sparcster and Eeeb: this is not an Omega, let alone a Seamaster.

The Omega logo is way too narrow, and every Omega watch I can find in "Omega - Travel through times" has mounted indices. Add to this, that Seamasters were meant to be sporty, truly waterproof watches, this one is way too elegant to be a Seamaster. If anything, it reminds me of a Junghans Max Bill or something like that.

Happy to be proven wrong by images.

Still, a nice watch, and priceless. Is your grandpa still around so you can ask from where he got it?
    Best regards
