Hello from Colorado,
Can anyone tell me what the logo on the back of an older Sandoz watch represents ?.
It looks like a stylized " S ", with a grasshopper ?? sitting on top.
Thank You,
Mike

I don't have a Sandoz with this logo (I think)... can you post a pic?

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history. You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter
I have been trying to upload pictures from my computor but have had no success.
I will have to get help from a more experienced user

I see the arm and hammer now on the dial.
What is displayed on the caseback is anyones guess !. I bought the watch on e bay and it isnt here yet, of course the watch is coming from Singapore.
I must have an unusual craving for gambling and/or surprises, as this is something I do all the time. Now I understand the term Frankenwatch.
Thanks everybody,
Mike
The logo is a stylized Knights helmet and shield, with S in the center, Sort of a sudo coat of arms.
Or maybe not? definitely different from front to back of watch.

The hammer is simply misshapen and not closed on the back.
