    Your cheapest working vintage

I wonder what your cheapest working vintage acquisition is? Care to share?

I have several nice ones I got for less than 8€ including delivery, but this morning arrived my cheapest at all, I got it for1€ and 2€ postage (vendors photo):

A little 1940's 28mm French Formi from Bescançon, 15 jewel, and keeping excellent time, I've started to clean it up, and will likely strip the remains of the chrome finish off and put a new acrylic on it together with a nice vintage style strap and then try to keep it out of the grasp of Madame la Frog, who has been dropping hints all evening!

    Hi there,

your lucky Marrick is on Holiday.... he could fill page after page!

As for me... I some that have worked out free (for exg, bought 4, sold 3 at a profit... makes the 4th free)... as for cheap buys... I have a nice Roamer that cost £5.... but my best/cheapest buy was a good quality King Seiko with high beat movement for £4... boxed! from a car boot sale!

The cheapest working one i bought was probably this Buren that I bought in a lot of 4 running watches. the lot cost $7.50 and free shipping so it works out to a little lest than 2 dollars for this one. The other watches are good too but I only had pictures of this one on my computer and I don't remember which other watches came in the lot with this one. I started a similar thread a while ago here my cheap vintages from ebay

    Hi!

I have a few German(and other) watches beside my Rados.
Here are two nice Oscos from the early 1970s, one automatic with a nice 25 jw.-DUROWE 7522 and a manual winded one with inhouse OS 850. Both from a flea market for 4.- € - both together. "The batteries are empty but I couldn´t open the watches to replace them", the seller said. "Okay" I said after winding them.
