    AirNautic - non-working sample pictures

These samples use the first dials that we received. Working samples will be built in about one week, when we receive the new dial samples.

I really like the blue/black. I've seen this 2 tone dial before on a Fortis and thought that it looked great. Glad to see it on this project! Is there any reasoning for the dial to be split between the 2 colors or is it just aesthetic?

1200 and blue at the top for daytime , 2400 and black at the bottom for night. I guess that is kind of an aesthetic thing but at a quick glance you see night from 1800 to 0600 and day from 0600 to 1800. Same for the other dials.

They look very cool, thanks for taking the time to post the pics. I hate to seem ungrateful, but is there any chance we could get a lume shot? I seem to recall that the Sub has a full lume dial, which I'd love to see.

Exactly. That was Roland's original concept, but he was not the first to do it.

I'll try some lume shots when the new sample dials arrive.

While I'm not certain I could ever get use to a 24 hour watch I'm very drawn to the one on the bottom with the red hands. Very nice clean design that is tugging at my wallet to just try. Thanks for sharing a watch I didn't even know I wanted. I need a dress watch.

    What is the size?

I never considered these to be dress watches, but what gets worn with a suit and tie, is a personal decision. I would have no problem wearing the LM-7 for that purpose, either.

    The diameter is 41.5mm.

New dials are on the way here. Working watches will be built next week.

Samanator, the submarine has the most draw for me as well it has the pop of red hands and the horizon on the dial mimicks the periscope (blue sky/ dark sea) . I really like the idea of having the 12 on top... the idea of having the daylight hours on the top half of the dial along with the color contrast makes perfect sense. Thanks to Roland and Mitch for resurrecting this watch!!!!!!!
