Here is our new company announcement!
I'm not sure if we will host a forum, but for now we can use this thread for any questions and discussion. Please do not create new AirNautic related threads in the OCEAN7 forum.
Not much will happen over the next few months. Roland Keller is doing most of the design work, from the logo to the new dials. I will relate any questions to him that are asked. We may post designs for comment. I'm not sure yet. The dials will be very similar to the original designs. I insisted on moving the date, and printing "24" on the dial. I believe that a 24 hour watch should be done that way.
We could not use the Yantar name because it is registered here in the USA by a dress company, and there are also problems with it in Switzerland. For that reason we took the model name, AirNautic, for the company name.
I hope this concept is of interest to the watch enthusiast community. Original Yantar watches command a premium on the market, when they can be found. We will make a major commitment to this brand over the next few years. Mr. Keller is excited and enthusiastic about this project.
