Classic and Classic 24 delivery and pricing!

The date rings arrived today at the factory, and assembly will begin immediately. We expect to have the watches here in about ten days, and to start taking orders in about seven days. A picture is on the home page of the OCEAN7 web site.

The 24 hour dress watch is unique in the industry, especially in this price range.

Here is the intro pricing. It won't last long. We are building a lot of watches and we really want to see them on wrists!

    12 hour SW200 version:
gloss black or cream dial - $349
polished pvd coated case - add $50
    COSC Chronometer (2824-2 movement) - add $279

    24 hour 2893-2 version:
gloss black or cream dial $439
polished pvd coated case - add $50
    COSC Chronometer - add $349

All watches use display backs, so these are great for COSC fanatics. It will be hard to find a Chronometer at this price, and not many are available. All COSC movements come with a certificate. All watches come on leather straps, with box, papers, and accessories, and all are Swiss made.

Why is the 24 hour version $90 more than the 12 hour version?
    It does not seem fair.

Sorry, the 2893-2 movement used in the 24 hour watch is more expensive than the 2824-2 or SW200 we use in the 12 hour version.

We're going to call it the Sport watch when it goes on sale in a week, not the Dress watch.

Mitch, is there any lume on the 24? It doesn't look like it but I can't tell. Since it's a dress watch, I guess lume would be out of place.

We don't use lume on these dials. The markers are polished.

no it's a sport watch, you can go to a sports bar or a maybe a casual restaurant--a picnic would be optimal--but no fancy meals, you need a dress watch for that .

Even though it's a Sport watch, I think I'm going to risk it and occasionally wear mine with a suit.
