    Considering LM-3

    Hi everyone,

New to here. A fellow watch freak pointed me at the Ocean 7 watches. And I'm really warming up for the LM-3 with blue dial (and bracelet). Which colour does the dial represent best in real life as it shows as pretty light blue (which my wife doesnt like) or pretty dark blue at times in pictures?

And more important; could any LM-3 owner make a side view wrist shot for me please to see how high it sits, as 17 mm sounds pretty high, as a matter of fact its as high as my casio frogman, and thats pretty high and bulky LOL.

    Thanks in advance.

The real colour of the blue dial LM3 is a mystery; iridescent perhaps?

Here's mine, difficult to photograph, but this isn't a bad representation of the real colour.

Thanks for the picture, if that is close to the real colour, then thats exactly what i like. Not seen one outside their website of one with black dial, looks pretty matt black on there.

And from that top angle the watch doesnt seem to appear overly bulky and high up the wrist. Still hoping to see if one has a side view on the wrist (seen side views off the wrist already)

Sorry I don't have any pictures of the side view but here are some that capture the amazing dial.

I agree, John, that's pretty much its average (and beautiful!) color. It can look nearly black sometimes or sometimes light blue, but those instances are fleeting. Like I said before, I look at the LM3 to see what time it is and also to see what shade of blue it is.

Here's a couple of wrist shots of mine that may give an idea of height plus another shot just for the heck of it.

To my eye, and I've had the LM3 for 4 months now, it looks chunkier on rubber or leather strap because it isolates the squarish and 17mm high case. The bracelet integrates it. The Ocean7 embossed black rubber strap (not the ploprof one) looks great on it. I switch between the two (rubber and bracelet). And it's easy to change straps on it, thank god!

Holy cow, those pics are hot! The pics on the Ocean7 website just don't do it justice. I'd never give it a second glance based on those.
