The watch diameter is 42mm and WR is 300m.

I would like to use a double domed sapphire crystal, but that will increase the cost of the watch by about $50. That decision does not have to be made for a month or so.

The double domed crystal (and even inner AR) would be worth the extra cost to me as another potentially interested buyer. My $.02 What a great looking project!

We can build SS watches with orange lume dials and inserts. We'll have to see what the demand is for that combination. It is easy to do because it's just a matter of assembling the parts that we already have.

Late March is a realistic delivery time frame for this project. At this point I think we will come close.

Re: Domed Sapphire Project - Production and Ordering Updates....

I am new to this thread and apologize if I'm might be covering old ground. I have not really been an 07 fan but this watch
has me super interested and I have a few questions of either Sir Mitch or the 07 faithful so here goes.
    1) Are there any views of the caseback yet.
    2) Is watch thickness known.
    3) Is there going to be a bracelet.
    4) What is the movement going to be.

Now a newbie to 07 my .02cents worth I love this watch

    as is +

a domed crystal depending on how it looks... it would be cool Sir Mitch if you could
offer a cad rendering of a sideways view on what your vision of this would be.

    my thanks,
    Dan

Hi Dan. I'm not sure about the thickness yet. I would guess around 12mm, plus or minus. We are working on a mesh bracelet for the new LM-3, it will also fit this watch, but we won't make custom endpieces. We will offer the watch with rubber and leather straps. We will use SW200 or 2824-2 movements in the watch. COSC versions will use the 2824-2. I don't think we will make any more CAD drawings.

Question Re: Domed Sapphire Project - Production and Ordering Updates....

I am very impressed with this new design. The basic black with C3 lume and polished SS would be my choice. And a COSC 2824 movement ... something that looks this hot deserves the high-performance engine. I hope you will give us some advance warning when purchasing is possible (understanding that late-March is the anticipated availability at this point).

Please reconsider fitted endpieces and a bracelet for this watch. At 42mm, a 24mm bracelet will look clunky, but a nice taper of the current 5-link bracelet, say down to 20-22mm, would look great, IMO. I know Graeme at SAS is tapering his 5-link bracelet a couple of mm to make his new diver a bit more sleek.

On the polished SS case, the bracelet would have to be polished, too - or with polished 2nd and 4th links - to match the case.

If you had such a bracelet option now and, with COSC, priced the total around $1,299, I would be on the phone with my CC this minute!

How about it, Mitch? You've spent two years making what I believe is one of the best looking divers out there at any price. Any chance that, at some point, it might have a stunning (tapered) bracelet to go with it?
