    Feast for the Eyes: LM6-C

Holy Moly and Wow! I don't know what else to say...

I was very happy with my regular LM-6 and called it the best Ocean7 release yet when I got it. But this piece takes it a whole step further. Absolutely fantastic looking watch and definitely my new favorite. Kudos to Mitch, you obviously have got the vision!

Re: Feast for the Eyes: LM6-C

The operation is flawless on this watch. I love the screw down pushers, the threading is super smooth on them and the amount of pressure is just right to activate the chrono function. They are also functional without taking the watch off which is nice.

The 120 click bezel is nice and snug and turns with just the right amount of tension. I was pleased to see that watch is rated at 500 meters WR. It's a little taller than the regular LM-6 which is to be expected but it wears very comfortably. The hands have a nice contrast and the orange is downright electric in color. Excellent layout on the dial and the indices are perfectly done. The lume is great.

All in all, I would say this is the best piece of 2008 so far from any maker I can think of. And the price is terrific too.

Re: Feast for the Eyes: LM6-C

Thanks for the review and pics. Nice strap. What strap is it?
This is what I was afraid of, nothing but reviews that say this is a must buy. Once the LM-2 GMT and GMT24 hits the streets it will just keep piling on.

So many choices, so little money......
    Regards

    Barry

Re: Feast for the Eyes: LM6-C

I know what you mean, I have sold off a lot of watches lately in anticipation of some of these new releases and so far my instincts have been right. :)

The strap is a relatively stiff brown shark strap that I got used off the forums and it's fantastic. I do not know the maker but I really wish I could get a couple more of them. It's been one of my best straps and it's tough as nails.

Re: Feast for the Eyes: LM6-C

Mitch, will these be available in either CF or other colored dial choices at some point? The black is great but I also picked up a used G2 recently and I love that CF look, also stunning. :)

Re: Feast for the Eyes: LM6-C

Peter, there are no plans to offer variations. Hopefully we have enough cases and we can get enough movements, for the LM-6C and the LM-2C to last through the year.
