If we do this, it will be an open design project so everyone who wants to contribute ideas, can do it.

My idea at this time is to use the LM-6 case design, brown sandwich dial, gold hands, and a brown leather strap. If we use a turning bezel it will be sold as a dive watch, if not, a sport watch. I like the dive watch idea better at the moment. Diameter will be either 42mm or 44mm. What do you think?

Alloy samples are being tested now in Asia and if they are acceptable, we'll have them tested here, too.

A 44mm Bronze dive watch using the LM-6 case sounds sweet. Choice of dial colors a possibility? Not partial to brown myself. Gold hands, not bronze? What movement are you considering?

Lovely Cannon, I like it! Date needs to be moved out a bit further towards 6 however. And perhaps an IWC AT-like marker at 12? Something to differentiate the 12 position and orient the user in the dark.
Need C3 on this one, BG-W9 wouldn't look right IMO.

I'm with blurry on the dimensions. If for whatever reason you decide to go for a sport model, I would like to see something that takes a few cues from a Royal Oak or Ingenieur.

The alloy contains quite a bit of lead, is it safe?
On leave 'til mid June to finish a degree I hate in order to do something I like.

If you want the best bronze known to mankind you should ask John Vargas, he just acquired some that they use for US Navy props and screws etc. I guess he picked it up for 2 high end Swiss watch companies. I've got to get me a bronze watch some day, they look great.
