Picture LM-2 GMT SE on Rubber Pictures

I just got this in. Having handled the 24 hour sample I was already sold on the look. I am a big fan of the black rubber O7 strap so I immediately swapped out the one that was on the normal LM-2 and switched buckles. The thing wears so nicely. The orange lume is not accurately represented in the pictures. The color really pops off the dial.

Argh! Mine is at FedEx...gotta go pick it up after dinner. The PU strap is what I think I'll use as well...going for that B&R look.

Wow, those are awesome looking! I'm currently selling off a good portion of my watches for the American.

I don't see that one on Ocean's site yet, what is it retailing at?

Seiko, you got the 24 hr dial right? I drove to fedex before dinner and picked up my 24 hr se. I am thinking that I'm going to have to hang on for the pvd braceletto make me utterly happy ...(another wait) also thinking about rotating the bezel to read 6 at the 9 o'clock position and 18 @ the 3 o' clock position on " normal watches" to read like the Yantar "airnautic" so the hourhand is on yhe top half of the watch during the "daylight hours" having fun playing with the bezels waaahooo here we go!!!

Here's a few more pictures I took today. I think this model has become my favorite O7 watch.

Congrats! I'm not a fan of rubbers straps unless I'm diving (pinches too much) but that looks really nice. I've had mine on most of the week. Have to try that combo over the weekend and see how it feels. Thanks for the idea.

The O7 rubber strap is one of the best out there.( I think it may actually be polyurethane, I forget. ) However it needs about three or four days of solid wear for the strap will mold to the shape of your wrist. Up until it molds to the shape of your wrist it's not going to be as comfortable. Don't give up on it's comfort after a day or two. The rubber strap in the picture is my original one that has been on almost every O7 I own at one time or the other. I have worn it a TON. I wore it almost non-stop at the beach last summer. The only weak point of the strap is after about 6 months or so of solid wear the keepers tend to break. So what I ended up doing was swap the keepers from the silicone strap to the rubber one and they look as new as the day I put them on. I have never had to replace the silicone keepers once.

Cannon's second thought is correct - this strap (and the yellow and orange versions) is polyurethane.

Interesting comment on the keepers, as the most common 'problem' with the old Omega Isofranes today is that the keepers are hard to come by. Most Isofranes have none or only one

I agree that the Ocean7 polyurethane straps are very good. My only issue has been that the keepers are too 'sharp' at the edges (wherever there is a right angle) and they become irritating with prolonged wear or vigorous physical activity.
