Black dial with white registers - different from what we've done in the past, and it goes well with the black on white big date.

    C3 lume

12 hour or diver bezel markings. Maybe 12 hour to be different.

    1. Black dial / White registers, C3 lume, 12 hour bezel, black on white date.

    2. Black dial / White registers, C3 lume, dive bezel, black on white date.

    3. Black dial/ Black registers, C3 lume, 12 hour bezel, white on black date.

    4. Black dial / White registers, C3 lume, Pepsi 12 hour bezel, Black on white date.

    5. Blue dial / White registers, C3 lume, Blue 12 hour bezel, black on white date.

    6. Blue dial / Blue registers, C3 Lume, 12 hour bezel, White on black date.

Any chance bgw9 could be a lume option? I very much prefer this over the c3, especially for the bezel insert. The blue dial with white/silver subdials looks stunning.

Mitch, I do like the 12-hour bezel. It looks interesting and is dual-zone functional.
I like the other elements you mentioned, although I wouldn't discount the 2-tone pepsi bezel -- just nice to the eyes, if lacking in meaningful function.

Life is short. How sad to have realized in your death bed that you've worn a crappy watch as a "daily beater" for most of your days.

    #3 for me.

The 12 hr. bezel gives a tighter focus to the dial.

Great renderings. But feel strongly against using black on white date wheel, particularly with white subdial registers.

I'll agree with you Mitch...black dial, white subdials, 1-12 black bezel.

One thing....The mock-ups kinds look like screw-down chrono pushers. I'd prefer non-screw-down pushers.

Mitch emailed me to let me know the model would have pushers with smooth surrounds a few days ago so I modified the mock-ups to reflect this. I had a hard time making them look correct and I am still not happy with them but they should give a rough idea instead of the earlier screw down buttons in the early drawings. The other change was the left register will have two hands so some older mock-ups incorrectly show a single hand register at 9.
