Bonaire Diving ---- Day 4

Today, we went to the north side of the island to do a little sightseeing and to dive one tank. I was a little excited, due to the fact that I hadn't been to the National Park. It is something like 30,000 acres.......so it is HUGE. Bonaire is a very arid island with cacti and many lizards.

We were greeted by this rather large fellow......



Now on to the diving. I was a little disappointed with the diving in the park. The reef was a little ragged-out. I did get to take a few good shots though......

A nice spotted eel.



There were 2 VERY LARGE parrot fish in rather shallow water.







I found a large conch shell that was damaged on the one side, but the inside was pretty good for a picture. Now, after seeing these two pictures........Can you see why I dive with the Mil Shark?? The white numbers on the inner bezel are UNMISTAKABLE





We are planning a night-dive so.......Maybe a few more pics this evening...........

Your photos are literally a ray of sunshine on a cloudy,rainy day in what is usually sunny Florida. Photos are always the next best thing to being there. :thanks

Same here! It was Jason's comparison photo that made me get one for the white numbers on the black bezel ... I'm a SUB 600T guy, but got the 750T Mil Shark mainly because of this earlier photo of his:
