$5k to spend on a Breit - most bang for my buck?

So I have a $5k credit at Tourneau. I want a big faced watch (46 - 50mm) and I'm thinking the Super Avenger is the way to go. Because I have a credit, I have to pay full retail. Is the SA the best bang for my buck? Any other ideas?

    Thx!

I am not sure what the retail price is in the U.S, but if I had to choose just one of my Breitling's it would be the Navitimer World. It is probably not to everyones taste, but I think it is a beautiful dress or casual watch.

I would get the SA. Matter of fact, about 2 mos. ago I picked up an SA and love it. I also had a World Navitimer. Nice piece also - But I traded the Navitimer for a Bell & Ross. I can't think of getting rid of the SA - it's that awesome !!!

I'd go for the World, but SA is awesome too...
Looks like a very personal decision.

    Cheers,

People talk a lot of trash about giant shiny obnoxious watches...But people also can't get enough of their SA. I say go for it!

At 45.4mm the Avenger (Skyland), Avenger Seawolf and Avenger Seawolf Chrono are absolutely gorgeous watches and even on bracelet with a strap thrown in they all meet your budget. Very close to your 46mm minimum, they honestly wear "larger" than you would perhaps think they would. Try them next visit to your AD and see if any of them "speak" to you. You didn't mention your wrist size but IMHO if it is not at least 7 3/4" or larger, the three pieces I mentioned will more than likely meet your desire for a "big face" watch. Give 'em a try and post your thoughts...
    Best,

Ron makes a good point. I've got a 7" wrist and wear a Avenger Skyland and it wears very well. Photo to show ya.

I would get the Navitimer World. Navitimer is a classic and the design is ageless. ( to me that is )

    Good luck with your decision.
