Hi, I am fairly new to this forum so forgive me if these are not the correct questions for here.
I have just bought a chrono-matic 2114 cal 11 circa 1968.
It arrived on Xmas Eve from Germany, and at first glance seemed not bad, but I think it has serious internal problems.
My main question is... is it worth sending to Breitling for a service costing at least £300. Or return for refund?
The problems are The movt seems to run strongly but the hands only move intermittently, I presume this is a canon pinion problem?
The chrono functions are not correct, the centre second hand does not reset to 12, and the chrono hour hand clicks over when the chrono minute hand is at 25 mins and also doesn't reset to zero every time.
On the plus side the case and crystal are not bad and I love the look of the watch which I paid £900 for. Any help is appreciated and Happy New Year.
