I would offer to “settle” if they replace the crown and clasp to restore the logos. I have traditionally found Breitling service very helpful, but also by-the-book.

    Re: Breitling service woes/advice

I had a servicing done by Breitling on my Super Ocean a few months ago, like yours they polished the head, bracelet, changed hands, crown, clasp and brought the movement back to original specs for just under $700. They wanted me to replace the bracelet for, as I recall, around $700+ which I refused. The watch runs great now but is too shiny IMO and the next time it needs to be serviced I will use an independent watch maker in my area which will cost me a fraction of what I just paid and no polishing.

That is why I will never send to Breitling. Takes forever to get it back too. Total scam

My watches no longer go back to Breitling unless something is horribly wrong.
