Is this Breitling Stopwatch military ?

    Can anyone tell me:
Is this a military stopwatch ?
The movement is Breitling Kal. 17. Any idea what year it's from ?
What about value ? How much ? is it rare ?

You can see the back (with THE arrow ?)

I would be grateful for any help since i can't find anything on the net.

    Kind regards,

    Marco

    -Hi Marco.

    1. I have no idea what the markings mean - so do not know what it may have been used for by the 1st owner.
    2. It's heavily used though- I suspect that the dial is a replacement as it is not signed "Breitling".
    3. I don't think it's worth anything much. Mint condition Breiling stop watches with te original box sell for about 30 dollars - so I cannot see this being worth much.

Sadly - vintage stop watches do not sell for anything like vintage watches.

    Hi,

Bradders pretty much nailed it then and it still applies now. A heavily used timer without prevenance of any sort just isn't that valuable. Breitling produced hundreds of models for all purposes one could imagine for the better part of a century. This one is just an example that could have come from anywhere.
