Question Chronomat model and pricing questions

First post, so go easy on me.

I received this watch as a gift a two years ago and although I like it, it's just not my style (too flashy for me to wear every day). I have no local Breitling dealers to help me out and I thought someone here might be able to tell me the exact model and what kind of trade in I'm looking at once I make it to a dealer. I called the AD that it was bought from(they are no longer a Breitling dealer) and they told me it retailed for $4200 and was purchased for $3400. I'm hoping to trade it in on an Aerospace or a B1 if I can locate one. The last option would be EBAY I suppose but, I'd rather not. It is the smaller diameter dial. I believe 38 or 39mm, with a blue dial and pilot bracelet. I'll have it polished out before I take it in or sell it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Edit.....I thought I figured out how to post pics but in the meantime here's a direct link to the photos.

Dead easy after a few thousand posts.

    Welcome to our forum.

In answer to your question which model ... its a Chronomat A13352, COSC certified, automatic B13 movement. As for market value... checking ebay completed listings is a very good starting point. Most here would be thinking list price less ~40-45% in very good condition.

You might want to have a glance at this linked article...

You think there is much demand out there for this model, or will I have trouble getting rid of it? I know the huge dials are popular right now.

Edit.....I checked out Ebay and it looks like around +/- $2000. I was hoping for more but, It's probably better to shell out a few more dollars for a watch I enjoy wearing. Thanks for the quick reply!

There is always a market for a quality watch. You could try posting to the sales corner here on WUS and put your toe in the water for nil dollars. You must stipulate a price, photos like yours help a lot, and settle the deal via PayPal so every one has confidence. You don't have any history here so you may have to go that little extra mile to get the deal done but its not impossible.
