    Chronospace features?

I have noticed when taking the Chronospace off and placing in down level on a flat surface that the digital displays change from TIME to the ALARM mode is this normal?

    No, it's not normal.
The only normal way to change between functions is to turn (flick) the crown. Are you sure you aren't accidentally moving the crown when taking it off? Or the display is actually changing without any interaction between you and the watch?
If that is the case, a trip to Breitling is in order. I know that the circuitry can act a little strange if the battery is low and that may be the cause.
    Cheers,
