    Deployment buckle question.

Silly me, but which strap goes at 6 o'clock?Does the free end that is not pinned to the buckle, or the strap pinned to the buckle?

In my setup, 6 has the non adjustable or pinned side of the assembly so the strap closes 'pushing away' from the body when holding your arm bent to see the full face of the watch. There are only two possible setups to state the obvious but there is no 'rule' as to which is the correct orientation of the deployant buckle.

Short end with non-adjustable piece at 12. The longer end with holes at 6.

If clasp has a logo, that will clue you in as to right orientation.

    Re: Deployment buckle question.

I had to scratch my head a couple times when I installed my new strap into my Breitling deployment buckle but it makes sense after you inspect it. (I'm certain that Breitling has several different deployment clasp designs) Mine has:

Short strap (pins at 12) which pins on other end to the clasp
Long strap (pins at 6) wraps into the other side of clasp, for sizing (I have no holes or buckle).
