you have to view the Breitling site on a full screen mode before you can find this link at the bottom right corner together with screensaver downloads, etc

Why have you spoiled the mystery around my story?
It is though a pb with the site construction, it shouldn't be like this anyway.
It's embarrassing , but thanks to fix that, Seawolf.

    Cheers,
    Cristi

Thanks to Ron (O2AFAC67) for providing the manual and SnapIT and Hobbes for helping get the file distributed.

Re: Do you have a few good links?

I've now got my own web space! My "old" pages have been put up there, along with many updates.

(And still working on other pages to add!)

The pages look almost pretty as mobile entertainment....

    Hope you enjoy.
    Best regards,
    -Don

Re: Do you have a few good links?

Although there is still some doubt in some minds as to whether the Chronosport UDT(underwater dive timer) series of dive watches was actually a Breitling-produced watch, here are a couple of links to sites which have some information:

    Check out the following websites:

http://www.freewebs.com/billyschorr/chronosportudt.htm Although I believe he is wrong about when he thinks the first Chronosport UDT hit the market, it was around 1980, not the mid 70's Otherwise, this site has a good history of the UDT series on it.

http://www.scubawatch.org/chronosportUDT.html This has some interesting information, and pics, but the author is in error when he infers it was a regular issue item for the U.S. military. It would have been assigned an NSSN or ISSN reference number to be a regular issue item, which it never received. BUT, many special operations units and others in the U.S. military were authorized to make "local purchases" for needed equipment items, and I am sure some S.E.A.L. Teams and other U.S. military elements likely ordered this watch for team members utilizing funding from local purchase accounts. Orders were likely even placed thru the "U.S. Cavalry Store" catalog for these local purchase items.

    Enjoy!

The heart of the matter...light reading for on line WIS..

Take a minute, take an hour and have a read, a real off the beaten track find from non directed browsing for something completely different...

Click on "Fitting" on the Japanese Breitling web site and you can build your own watch and see what different straps and bracelets will look like.
