Hi, John. Absolutely. As a high school student in the early 60's, my dad made certain I knew how to use the old "bamboo wand" although I don't recall if the one I had was actually bamboo or not. It may have been a K & E instead of a Dietzgen, too long ago for me to remember... I also had the pleasure of trying out an HP-35 sometime in the early 70's when I was working at a real job. I suspect Casio stole the design for a wristwatch I bought sometime in the 80's... Great pic with Felix although I'm wondering if the pocket sleeve of your flight suit is actually deep enough to hold that smartstick...
