    Navitimer 01 or Cosmonaute

I've decided that my next 2 watches will be the Oris Depth Gauge Chronograph and 1 of either the Navitimer 01 (43mm) or the Navitimer Cosmonaute. Which of the 2 Navitimers do you prefer and why? I'm torn between the 2 but leaning more towards the Cosmonaute as it is a limited edition and it has been into space which will go well with my speedy pro

I have had a navitimer montbrillant and now currently have a limited edition (of 250) cosmonaute. Breitling has so many limited and special editions or Short runs, not sure if that means much anymore.
It is hard to choose between the two as they are both beautiful pieces..... A lot of watch for the $$$'s.

The cosmonaute takes some getting used to. And once you do get used to it, you may prefer it and find it hard to switch back to a 12 your dial. I prefer the cosmonaute now and it fits me nicely. Your preference may be different.

The cosmonaute dial is unique. Also I like the fact is has the same scale on the back as the 01 43mm. The one I tried on in the ship is limited to 1962 models. (if 1962 can be limited edition!!)

Yeah I would prefer the Cosmonaute. It is more rare and great bang for your buck

I would go for a limited Navitimer 01. Preferably the first version with b01 movement. Navitimer is Breitling most sought after line.

Considering one is hand-wound vs automatic with the option of hand-wound, I would still prefer the automatic Navitimer with the B01 movement. If I had the Cosmonaute, I would forget to hand-wind the movement. Not really into the military time markings on the dial but it's a personal taste.

They are both beautiful watches. Did you buy one yet?

Navitimer, it's B'ling's most iconic piece and has real historical significance. And it just looks amazing in all situations.
