hi, i am new to this forum. I recently purchased a brietling navimer shown below. DO you guys think that the watch is too small and does not have enogh presence because i am having 2nd thoughts

It's a fabulous looking piece.

OK it may not have the size presence of the Nav World, or a Montbrillant Legende, but you have to have pretty big wrists to carry off 46/47mm.

jeez how can you even ask if it has enough presence its a navitimer it has more presence than pretty much any other breitling. it may not be massive but its gorgeous.

some of the bigger watches dont always look their size for example the monty legend looks smaller than its size due to the different colour inner ring.

its about perception on the wrist no mm on paper

Agree 100% with Davey and Alex... frankly, it's hard to question the wrist presence of a full-size Navitimer. It's a big watch, and a stunningly beautiful one, especially the 50th anniversary edition (pictured in your post).

I'm pretty confident that, if you provide us with a wrist shot of your acquisition, no one will think it looks puny or lacking presence -- on the contrary.

i see your points and i agree that the navitimer has its presence.

just last weekend at a party one of my cousins who is not a huge watch fan but he instantly recognised the navimer. made my feel good!

i also bought this navitimer simply because.

if you think of the best chronographs you think breitling. then if you think of breitling you think of the navitimer if you see what i mean

but at home i have a bretling bentley style bracelet whcih personally i prefer to the navitimer bracelet shall i dare put the bentley style bracelet on the navitimer.

'bentley style' bracelet? Sounds like it might not be an original then? You're putting an expensive chunk of metal on your wrist - do you want to trust that to a possibly less than perfect bracelet? Just a thought.

But if I've mis-read your post, and you've got the right tools, why not give it a go and post pics? But without the right tools perhaps post a pic of the other bracelet?

But at the end of the day, it's your wrist - if it flips your coin give it a go! We can always shoot you down in flames afterwards
