    Navitimer Olympus

Hello all. I have been reading and enjoying the posts for a couple of weeks. Very interesting discussions and useful info. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what a 2yr old stainless navitimer olympus on crocodile strap with stainless bracelet would be worth ? It is just now having a maintenance performed and should be in excellent condition.:thanks and thanks for a fun forum.

Do you know what the guy is asking?
Is it a service covered by warranty?
You may want to verify who serviced it, was it Breitling? Will it come back from service with a transferable warranty?

I have a feeling you are going to find that the asking price will not be a big enough discount to offset a new one with a 20% discount and 2year warranty

Trading it to a dealer will get you much less than selling it privately.

Hello. Are you talking about a Montbrillant Olympus model A19350? Two years old and needing a service? Quite unusual. If it is a Navitimer Olympus model A19340, that piece was discontinued after the 2004 model year after having been in production for a few years. Some dealers still had one in stock well into 2005. I can understand the 40 needing a service but not the 50 OLY. And you had an AD service it? Unless he is also a Breitling authorized service center (extremely rare), that may not have been the preferred place to have it serviced. A few more specifics would be helpful if you want a reasonably accurate assessment. Were you the only owner? Complete box and papers? bought from this same AD and at what discount? Etc., etc. We try to be helpful but we aren't mind readers...
    Cheers,
    Ron
