    Navitimer v. Montbrillant Datora

    All:
I have the opportunity to buy a breitling navitimer (black face, black croc band) or a Montbrillant Datora (Silver face, brown croc band) at cost. This is not grey market and the watch is from an AD, so no worries there. Which watch has a higher demand and will be easier to re-sell on down the road?

Any input would be greatly appreciated

If it is the Navitimer 01 then buy the Navitimer 01 it is overall a better watch, it has in-house movement and it is much more elegant and nicer piece than the datora!

The Datora is not as common. But that does not necessarily add value.

The Navitimer is more traditional and more common. That does not necessarily detract from value.

I have a Navitimer that was lightly used and was considering selling. I was looking for $3K and found no interest.
So it all depends on who's looking and when and is pricing realistic.
The market will determine the value in the end

Despite the botox John agrees, here's the limited release Blue Sky in Singapore a few months ago.
