one of the rarest Breitling, Old Navitimer Mecanique, japan LE 2001

Japan seemed to get the most beautiful Limited Editions for some years,
for me this always was the nicest of all - The Navitimer Mecanique 2001,
an LE of 400 pieces, designed as a Tribute to the original 1954 Navitimer,
    based on the Lemania 1873.

I had been hunting for one of these for years- saw a white one for sale
a year ago, but never a black; saw sales listing ending immediately for
watches in Japan, but never one available for overseas shipping.

Finally one popped up and I succeeded to grab it, from a very reliable
seller in Japan, in LNIB condition - and here it is, hope you enjoy it.

thanks, guys - and yes, in a way it "sums it up", not the collection, addiction being what it is, but it ends an important hunt, as I had really searched for this one for a very long time - in a way I'll miss that.

What a beautiful watch! It's weird sometimes when you go on quest to find your grail, and afterwards your quest was almost as fun as the grail... You'll be at it again in no time
