Service Already??? Breitling Chronomat 44 GMT - Anyone else needed service

    Hey All,

I just got my watch back from Breitling and they needed to make some repairs on it. It was fully repaired and it is working fine but I was surprised that it needed service after two years. I was gentle on the watch but I am still concerned. Anyone else have similar experience with their Breitling Chronomat 44 GMTs?

I've had some problems with the B01 in my Navitimer but in hindsight I think its because it didn't get fixed right the first time. I think we are probably more the exception than the rule. It is interesting though pretty much all my watch issues in Breitling, Bremont, and Omega have been around the winding. Maybe too many turns per day on my winders?

Thanks for your response. I am confident that Breitling USA have resolved all the issues during the last service but I still don't understand why it happen. Oh well...does your B01 run the full 70 hours on the reserve?

Normally a B01 inhouse chrono bears a five years warranty and shouldn't present any problems and it should have indeed at least 70 hours of power reserve

I've had a Breitling for Bentley Speed that had to go back 2 weeks after I bought it, then it was worn 1 time after getting it back and now has stopped moving and will not wind. And now of course, its out of warranty.

    Pretty disappointing.

My Chronomat 44 Airbourne will no longer wind automatically. I can wind it manually but it stops when on the wrist or in the watch winder. It's gonna have to go back after just 4 months
