Agreed 100% with Captian. Good luck though. I was in our local "xxx branch" a couple of weeks ago...someone was very mad and he was yelling in front of everyone about how the watch has been with them twice and it's not working correctly and he's going to have his lawyers contact the manager. Sounded pretty legit and this guy was wearing a nice suit, etc. Who knows, maybe he was all talk, but he got his message across. He had a SS Daytona on too...

It's amazing how some people through tantrums in watch stores, haven't seen one bang their head
    on a case yet.

it's back in the shop for a 3rd try. the service manager spoke to the 'Chief' Watchmaker in the tech shop and they have promised to fix it. this is their last opportunity to redeem themselves failing which i will need to insist upon a refund. let's seee how it goes.

i really love the watch and hope they fix it. i do hope that the xxxxx chain train their store staff better - they should at leaast be able to recognise watch models. it's been a while since I have come across anyone in these stores that knows anyything about watches.

    Re: SuperOcean woes

Picked up the watch today. 3 tries so far to get it fixed. The guys at the store couldn't tell me what needed to be done to fix the watch, but strangely, instead of the xxxxx service warranty they gave me an 18 months Breitling warranty. The service manager was not in the store so I couldn't get any details on why and how I would actually make any warranty claims.
I'm hoping they fixed it this time.

Sorry to hear this. For less than $400 you could have sent it to Breitling directly and got a full overhaul including case refinish, movement service, pressure test, etc plus the work is warrantied for a year. Next time I would recommend you just go that route instead.
