Wish they had the SOHII in 44MM. Just looked at the first gen 42MM and 46MM and one is a tad to big and the other is a tad too small. Probably going to stick with my SOH Chrono 44. Really like the idea of the newer movement and ceramic bezel though.

I have always liked this model, but why did they go and fuglify the hour hand? Looks worse now

FWIW my AD said the price increase over the previous gen will be negligible... A few hundred bucks. Gladly pay that for a ceramic bezel and better PR. On a side note he also mentioned the brown/copper colored one looks terrible in the metal!

If you "create" your watch on the site it gives you the retail price. Its only a few hundred dollars more true.

We will see. If the copper is bad in the metsl there is always blue!

Just curious, how does the micro adjust clasp work for the Breitling? I'm very interested in the SoH II, and if I can swap in a micro adjust clasp then I'm sold.

I put the SM300MC adjustable clasp on my SMPc and I absolutely love it. Does the Breitling adjustable clasp function similarly to the Omega one?

One thing to also consider, is the case thickness change due to the new movement.

SOH 42 was 12.95mm and now is 14.35mm
SOH 46 was 13.60mm and now is 15.00mm

It is very similar to the adjustable clasp that Omega has. From what I recall reading though, is that once you put the adjustable clasp on the Breitling mesh, that it can't come off without damaging a few links.

I like all of the changes except the hour hand... In fact, I dislike it so much that it might prevent me from buying the watch. I guess I'll wait until I see it in person

I like the new hands and will be receiving my new SOHII 46 (first Breightling) tomorrow 4/24 blue bezel, silver dial with classic bracelet. It was not due to be here until late May but received email Friday from AD that they had received it and would be delivered to me on Monday. Hope it feels as good as the SOH 46.
