What size leather strap for my Breitling Chronospace

Hello All,

Can I ask for some advice?.

I have recently purcahsed a Breitling Chronospace (white face). Love the watch but after looking on the offical website I have seen my watch with a brown leather strap. (mine has the braclet).

I think with the white face my watch looks 100% better with a brown leather strap so I am going to look to purchase one. I have been blown away at the cost by my local dealer (I want the deployment clasp). So I'm looking at ebay etc as an alternative, but it of course has to be genuine items.

My question is what is the strap size that I need, I have seen a few for sale but they range from 17mm to 22mm and I dont want to buy the incorrect type. Does anyone know what is the correct leather strap size from my chronospace?. I looked on the official web site but it does not give the specifications for the strap size.

You are asking about the "inter horn" width of the strap at the head of your watch. A quick and deadly way of sizing the gap is to cut a piece of paper/business card to the exact fit where the bracelet is attached and then measure that. Then you can take a look over on our strap sales forum and have a go at finding something that suits your taste. You will find that most 'breitling' straps sold on the auction site are not original. You have to be very good or be prepared to do a lot of leg work to verify that what you are paying for is the real deal.

Thanks for the advice chaps much appreciated, so I'm looking for a 24mm strap.... what about the deployable clasp is it one size fits all or do I need a specific size clasp as well?

Congrats on the Chronospace, I love that watch big and truly an instrument for professionals

Personally I think you should stick with the Mesh bracelet

Make sure the leather strap fits your wrist without having to punch another hole in it. If you do get a reliable shoe repairer to do it,
unless you have the right size leather punch.

But I'd keep the bracelet on it too.

All the info you need is on the Breitling website. You're looking at 24/20. ;)
