Where does XX acquire their Breitlings?

Before any XX bashing I will say that I had a great experience with them. I just purchased a Chronospace with mesh bracelet and the watch is absolutely brand new flawless with two days time from purchase to delivery. I've owned quite a few Breitlings and this one in undoubtedly the real deal. I'm really just curious. I saved over X$ over buying the watch at the mall. Does anyone know where XX or any of the other online super dubious (according to Breitling) online retailers get their inventory?

There're not retailers, there're resellers, some of their stuff is 'back-doored'.

its usually under the model nr and its very thin look at my back-cower

its the number 412304 on this watch look on the right in the pic
    thats the serial

design can change on different watches but serial is always thin

back doored is a different word for gray market watches (not sold by a certified AD and therefore no breitling warranty)

I almost purchased a Seawolf from them but they never called me back and then I read the Grey market article and was glad I didn't.
I live in city and there are many grey market dealers and they say " yeah of course we are dealers " and I say ok let me see the stamped card. That's when the excuses start flowing and the repair promise to bring it back and they will repair it.
According to the pictures the watch is stunning but if you need to send it to get repaired Breitling wouldn't service it. I would play it safe. AD if you can.

Re: Where does XX acquire their Breitlings?

The serial numbers are intact with the Chronospace I got from XX and the warranty card says XX. Does this mean that I can have my watch serviced by Breitling if need be?. I have to say I have owned quite a few Breitlings over the years and none of them have ever needed servicing so I'm not too concerned.

I am probably wrong but I was under the impression that BUSA would service it but not under warranty? I am not sure about this as I have purchased all of mine through my AD.
I have had minor problems over the years and have either dealt with my AD or called directly to BUSA and always had excellent service. I would stick with non-gray if it were me but that is just my opinion. Hope this all works out for you but cover your butt before it gets to far from date of purchase.
    Best health, Frank

I've taken in a few under warranty and servicing is recommended every 5 years.
