A Windrider for the Rainy Days

My roster has gone from theme to theme since i started my interest in watches...there was first an all rolex theme then an all japanese theme, an independent branded theme, an all omega theme, and nowadays i'm moving towards a semi-vintage theme.

My latest impulse purchase is this Windrider Sirius Chronograph from the 90's. I was looking for a semi old, well priced quartz as a daily wearer that could still turn heads every now and then.

I don't really buy watches under 40mm but when i saw this baby i just instantly bonded with it and i had no problems taking it over my initial aqua terra choice.

The watch arrived 2 days ago with a brand new oem breitling rubber strap that i took off in favor of a more playful hirsch gray carbon fibre. the champaign subdials and yellow gold accents on the bezel gave the watch a dressy look and that's why i chose to go with the hirsch to kinda tone it down into something i can wear to work without looking too serious.

There is almost nothing wtitten on the web about this model so i can't really tell you much about it but if there's someone out there with some info feel free to contribute.

It's been a rainy winter here in Brisbane and i am hoping this Windrider will be a good daily companion.

Nice looking watch. Breitling produced some very nice models back then.
