    6900 Bezel compatibility?

Just a quick one, although I think I know the answer but wanted opinions from you helpful guys.

I bought a used Passerella Death Squad DW-6900 from eBay yesterday. It's needing a good clean up but looks fine otherwise. The main reason for this post is that the seller has sold it with a different bezel to the original black with all white lettering.

I'm going to contact Casio UK to see if they sell the original bezel, but have also seen that there's a different model with the same colours and wondered if it would fit?

The other model in question is the GD-X. I think I've read that these are bigger than the DW?

    Cheers as always😊

Thanks mate, I had an idea that would be the case. Hopefully there's such a thing as a DW bezel with all white lettering!

One Version of the 6900 with all white lettering was the DW-6900E (black).

A pic of the black resin from a 6900E with the module from a blue 6900E:

Thanks for the info, I'll have a look/see if Casio UK can get me one.

    Re: 6900 Bezel compatibility?

Got here yesterday, it will need new clothes, I've got no clue why someone thought the bezel was a good idea!

For some reason the bottom strap doesn't sit flush against the bezel either, but I'll get a new one anyway.

The watch itself looks in excellent condition with no damage to crystal or caseback. The bezel screws look a bit mullered, but I think I have spares.

    Re: 6900 Bezel compatibility?

Just a quick update on this one - I haven't managed to source an all white lettered bezel, (not available from Casio UK), so while I keep my eyes open for one, I'll use a spare "standard" one that I had lying around.

The watch itself cleaned up really well, and the strap is the original, it didn't need replacing, the issue with it not sitting flush was a severely bent spring bar. The bezel looks ok, I'd still prefer it with white "G Shock", but this will do temporarily:

You can always paint the lettering on the bezel white.

True enough, never tried it though. And weirdly, straight after I did my last post, I found a bezel on the 'bay.
