I have changed straps on my Mudmasters numerous times. As long as you don't overtighten the screws, there should not be any trouble.

I will offer a couple other tips:

    • don't lose the tiny little white plastic washers that are on each hex screw. Sometimes when you remove the screw, they will come with it - other times, the washer will remain inside the end of the "Wing" as you remove the screw.
    • don't make the silly mistake that I made once (ONCE ) in which I attempted to tighten a hex screw, but mistakenly forgot to put the "Wing" back on first. This led to the screw going in farther than normal, and now, it will not tighten fully even when the Wing is in place. Not much of an issue because it tightens enough that it is not going to fall out. But still, a silly mistake to make.

BTW, I highly recommend Tiktox for spare straps. Their prices are generally much better than Pacparts, and even with the shipping cost you'll pay less - sometimes, much less.

While the black looks nice, & actually I think they both look great - I prefer the Camo look here.

In wearing it for a little while, I can say I do too.
Still it's good to be able to have another look.

Actually I just purchased a 1A5 watchband and bezel. I'm pretty hard on things, and now I know that in time (hopefully many years) I'll have the parts under wrap when they will be impossible to find.

Re: Alternating bands on a MUDMASTER

The best value of G-Shock is all models and versions have a reason to exist, my collection is around 8 pieces, I have some favorites, but some days I love to wear not favorites, so I think it is not a problem, but normal, you like to change color sometimes... The Desert is my favorite, but not everyday I'm ready for this one
