    Alternating bands on a MUDMASTER

    Guys,
I have a 1A5JF (Camo band/Orange face accents). Was thinking about getting a black band just to provide me with some variety. I think the black would look good with the 1A5JF orange accent face (which is my favorite of them all).
My question for the brain trust, is it problematic for the threads on the 'wings' hex bolts and the pulling the pins to be alternating them on occasion ?
Would like to hear your experience and recommendation on such a maneuver.
    Thanks in Advance.

I can't answer your question about wear and tear due to repeated strap removal and replacement, but the post referenced at the link below at least shows how to remove the strap. It's not quite as simple as just removing the hex screws.

Has anyone ever changed the strap on their Mudmaster GWG-1000 ?

I swapped green for rescue red took a few mins as I didn’t expect the pins but I didn’t see a problem with the process

The 'on & off' of the strap is easy. I'm just concerned about the on & off of the hex bolts. As far as I can see it is a metallic bolt going into plastic/resin threads. It is the ware on these threads I'm concerned with.

    Now for my next question.
Seen some on eBay, but wondering if there are other sources. Also, any on eBay that should be avoided or sought after ?

You can check PacParts. That's where I get my Casio parts. Just put the model number in the search box.

Consumer Electronic Parts and Accessories at PacParts, Inc.

Also, Tiktox in the UK is a good option.
