    Re: Casio MTG1100 question

I have all the models in the MTG line and find the MTG-1100 is the best looking one with all the same functions except a few found in Ana-Digi models like the MTF-1500. All I miss on the MTG-1100 is the power reserve meter. In my book, the MTG-1100(B) looks even better than the MTG-1200(B). The black finish should be more durable too.

    Re: Casio MTG1100 question

The MTG-1100 is one badass looking piece. Unbelievable styling. The cutaway dial, the radio tower hands. I think if it had a silly backlight feature I would have paid the 2 xtra hondo and splurged for it, rather than for the G-1250BD-1A I just clicked and bought. Imagine - 2 hondo for a tiny, eenie weenie LED that costs about $0.50 - HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!! But it's important to be able to tell time when the sun goes down, right?

    Re: Casio MTG1100 question

Is this watch similar to a gw4000? I think of it as the ultimate version of that watch, but don't know if that is accurate or not. I'm thinking of getting one for that reason.
Yes, I am OCD. What gave it away?

You're right, Chris. In terms of features and functionality it's the same watch.

    Re: Casio MTG1100 question

It's very similar to the gw4000, just a bit smaller, but looks more solid b/c of all the stainless and the 3-d dial
